It has been awhile......

So it has been a few months since i posted on here and if there is anyone who reads my blog i have to apologize, i am so bad at this and feel so bad too ! :[ So i have set a goal for myself to do one post every two weeks. I have done a lot of projects in the last few months but don't have any pictures of them really. I do have a couple photos of a wedding gift i made, my attempt at organizing in a fashionable way (ha!), and a lamp revamp i did though! in the next two weeks i am gonna take photos of all the projects i have been doing and put them up here to share with you lovely people! :] In the mean time though here are the photos of the a few small things i did and actually have pictures of ( again i am horrible at all this lol ;) Also after the photos an update on my gorgeous babies!

Jessica and Justin's wedding gift was a shadow box which included tulle and flowers from their reception, engagement photo, photo after they were sealed, and temple they were sealed in (the Logan one which is gorgeous by the way)

My attempt at trying to make organization look good :] I still have to make tags for all the other bins and buckets i use ( i get the ones from the dollar section at target. They are awesome and so cute! don't you just adore target!)

A lamp revamp, i actually got the idea for this from the blog One Lucky Girl, it was just so cute and one of those projects that can be done in about an hour or less and looks great in the girls room. Here is the before and after :]

So now on to my favorite subject: MY amazing little girls! Katelyn and Reya seem to grow and change in every way overnight every night! Reya is developing such a personality! She is such a card, funny, and crazy, and also my little miss attitude. My favorite is sometimes she will look at you and scrunch up her nose and squint her eyes and "smile" ( what i mean by that is open her lips just enough to show her top teeth) and the way it looks is like she is thinking in her head yeah i am giving you this "smile" but really i am thinking you need to leave me alone. haha It really is so funny, I will try and get a picture to show you cause it's one of those things you just have to see. She is also become more girly. She likes to grab all kinds of clothes and put them on, and do her nails with mommy and kk, and play with her baby dolls, but she is also so tough! Currently she is trying to beat up on sissy a lot and finds it funny, but she has been getting better at not hitting (she is not fond of the time outs that the hitting results in) She is getting really good with words too and has been repeating a lot more then she used to and even calls katelyn by name, "kayden" ;] Katelyn is quite the girl too! She is really coming out of her shell. She was never shy with family but when it came to others, even kids her age, she was SO shy! Now though, she is talking like crazy and playing with kids more and being her wonderful self! She is so funny too and she thinks she is so funny which is even funnier! She will say something she thinks is funny and then burst out in this loud, completely fake laugh and then say i am so funny huh mommy? lol It is so cute! The other day she decided to out in a talent show for me and Reya and after she finished each song and dance she would say "Can you say bravo now?" So i would clap and yell bravo bravo, encore encore! and she would take a few bows and say thank you, thank you, thank you! It was beyond adorable! She is smart and funny, they both are. I am truly blessed to have them as my babies and don't deserve such amazing girls but am so thankful i have them :] they make everyday amazing. Right now our favorite thing to do together is to do a dance party :] We turn on cat country and dance the time away and it is a blast! :] Well I don't really know if there is anyone out there but if there is I hope you have an awesome day! girls update!

wow it has been awhile since i posted last! I am so bad at this lol! Well I thought I would give a little update on the girls! They are getting so big so fast! It is exciting and heartbreaking all at the same time! Reya is starting to say real words! She can say mama, more, door, no, stop, and juice! She is really good at always saying more when she wants more food or drink! I am so proud of how quickly she picked up on that concept, it only took one try of teaching her to ask more and teaching her how to say more and she did it from then on! i know i am the mother of genius! :] (and so modest too ;} Katelyn is developing her own personality and likes and dislikes so much! She always lets you know if she does or doesn't like something or if she LOVES something ( she always exclaims i love it so loud when she loves whatever it is, too cute :]) She is also really big into helping me with everything right now from cooking, to folding laundry, to washing dishes, to helping poor juice, or with Reya, or anything! It is rarely ever helpful but it is always fun :] Oh and katelyn has started counting things! She has been able to recite her numbers from one to ten in order since about 18 to 20 months but now she is counting actual objects! I gave her jelly beans the other day and she counted out how many i had given her! It was amazing! Also Reya will be participating in the diaper derby at Almond Blossom this saturday. For those of you who don't know that is a crawling race for babies who still only crawl! I am so excited! Recently she has started taking some steps on her one so i have sort of kept her crawling just till saturday so she could "race" :] and then we will work on walking again! I did the race when i was a baby but i just sat there when the race started and then took off and shot across the mat once it was done lol, so we will see if  she is like her mother or if she is determined to win hahahahaha! Well i am so proud of my girls, they are so smart and talented and honestly i could go on and on but right now those precious little angels are starting to get a little noisy and destructive so i need to go entertain before this place is up in flames! ;] Hope everyone is having a wonderful day and enjoys there night!

i am a confessed craftaholic

So one night i went craft crazy and whipped out a ton of crafts in about two hours and i have to tell you the frames are by far my favorite craft that i have ever done! i want to replace all the frames in my apartment with these! I was inspired by some similar frames from another crafter's blog (i can't remember which one) but wanted something a little different and i am sooooo happy with them! i love the little  bow holders too and letter plaques< i am a little obsessed with plastering the girls initials all over their room :] i hope you love all these as much as i do! oh and the pictures in the frames were done by janea greene of janea greene photography. She is amazing! she is so good with kids and so talented i am going to her for future shoots as well! so talented, so fun, and reasonably priced! Love her!

crafts!! :]

So I have been up to a couple things, not too much but enough to keep my craft craving satisfied :] Although my list for more crafts is so SO long! I need more time in the day so i can fit crafts into my schedule! Well onto what I have been making! i made a gorgeous pillow, a surprise diaper cake for an unsuspecting family (there is another one in the making for another unsuspecting family) and then a simple jazz up to a calendar frame i already made a couple months back at super sat. Right now i am redoing my living room colors into brown and yellow, so i am making pillows, although the store didn't have a yellow i liked so i used gold, the next pillow will be a ruffle one! i found these adorable ones at pier one but didn't want to pay what they are charging so i will just make it myself! I am also going to be making a few other yellow and browns things and hopefully making over an ugly chair to match too! Woot Woot! too fun! The diaper cake is only so so cause well i have absolutely no baby boy supplies! But i am still pretty happy with it! simple but i like! Here are some photos of a few of the steps from the pillow! Reya's first step!

So last night reya took her first step! It was so amazing! I am so very proud of her!! She was standing up and i rushed over and stood in front of her and put my hands out saying "come here, come on" and she did it! She took her first step all alone! My little girls are growing up so fast!

So it took me a week but i am finally getting the easel pictures up!! The girls love it! They use it everyday; I am so happy they get so much use out of it! :] Here are some pictures: Reya even helped! :] i will post some more crafts and updates tomorrow!
